Topic 2 – Targeting secondary sources to enhance access to raw materials
We are primarily interested in joining international consortia targeting Topic 2 (and secondary alignment with Topic 3) as a Key Partner or Work Package Leader. Our cooperation interests focus on the following core activities within a project lifecycle:
Leading/Contributing to Technical Work Packages: We aim to take responsibility for tasks related to Selective leaching, Solvent extraction, Green Solvent (DES) Formulation, Ultrasonic-assisted process and Electrochemical Recovery Design
Cross-Sectoral Scaling & Validation: We wish to cooperate with industrial partners (such as battery manufacturers, coating industries, or recycling facilities) to bridge the gap between our laboratory-scale prototype reactors and industrial-grade end-product validation.
Sivas Cumhuriyet University (SCU) is a well-established state university in Türkiye, hosting cutting-edge research infrastructure in materials science, chemistry, and metallurgical engineering. The Advanced Electrometallurgy and Sustainable Materials Research Laboratory within the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is fully equipped to conduct advanced hydrometallurgical extraction, and electrometallurgical processes.
Our laboratory offers robust experimental and analytical infrastructure.
