Topic 1 - Ensuring a resilient supply of raw materials from primary sources
Looking to join/co-develop to form a consortium. We using low-impact airborne geophysical survey as its exploration or characterization backbone, identifying new primary deposits (Topic 1). We are open to exploring collaboration with partners across different steps of the raw materials value chain, not limited to any specific type of expertise at this stage. Open to leading the airborne survey/characterization work package.
We provide field-validated, practical expertise applying this platform to both primary exploration and secondary environmental monitoring missions:
1. Primary mineral exploration including CRMs, REEs etc.: experience in developing prospection and exploration concepts, and detecting primary raw materials, including field campaigns in challenging environments such as deserts (Gobi Desert) and mountain areas.
2. Environmental monitoring missions: utilizing our multi-sensor array—particularly our airborne gamma-spectrometry—for the monitoring, environmental mapping of U/Th tailings. This supports sustainable resource rehabilitation efforts.
The Chair of Raw Material and Resource Management at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) developed and operates a multi-sensor airborne geophysical investigation system for mineral exploration.
