My primary objective is to deliver dedicated laboratory testing, process optimization, and experimental data validation within funded project structures that require specialized raw materials and mining machinery insights.
As a Lead Researcher at Afyon Kocatepe University's Mineral and Coal Processing Division, I operate a fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratory layout designed for bench-scale testing and material optimization.
My core technological capabilities include:
Clay Beneficiation & Advanced Transformation: Extensive experience in the chemical, thermal, and mechanical activation (milling/grinding) of industrial clays like sepiolite, bentonite, and kaolinite, as well as customized organoclay synthesis for targeted adsorption processes and the production of clay-based and/or clay-polymer nano composite innovative products.
Innovative Mineral Processing: Application of ultrasound-assisted processing (sonication), adsorption kinetics testing, and gravity-based ore/coal separation.
Secondary Resource Recovery & Environment: Valorization of mine tailings, recovery of clean coal fractions from preparation plant wastes, and industrial wastewater treatment using altered local clays (coagulation-flocculation).
My laboratory provides agile, high-quality experimental workflows that can be seamlessly integrated into existing work packages via service contracts or direct third-party agreements.
