Topic 2 – Targeting secondary sources to enhance access to raw materials
We are interested in joining or co-developing a RAMP 2026 consortium on waste valorization in building materials, with a main focus on unfired clay. We also offer expertise in brick reuse, masonry, mortar, and concrete, including mechanical and durability testing from material specimens to full-scale components.
The Division of Structural Engineering at Lund University researches sustainable building materials, circular masonry, brick reuse, moisture durability, and structural performance. Our capabilities include experimental testing from small-scale materials to full-scale walls, supported by data-driven modeling and active leadership in RILEM technical committees.
