Alagene is seeking to join a consortium as the biotechnology and bioprocess development partner. We are looking to collaborate with mining companies, environmental technology developers, research institutes, universities, and industrial partners working on sustainable recovery of critical raw materials from secondary sources.

We offer expertise in native microbial discovery and optimization, microbial consortium development, fermentation process development, scale up, techno economic assessment, and, where beneficial, microbial engineering to improve process performance.

Alagene is an Israeli biotechnology company specializing in microbial bioprocess development, industrial fermentation, and microbial platform optimization.

We have extensive experience isolating, screening, characterizing, and optimizing native microorganisms for industrial and environmental applications. Our capabilities include high throughput microbial screening, adaptive laboratory evolution, bioprocess development, fermentation scale up, downstream processing, and techno economic analysis. When appropriate, these capabilities can be complemented by advanced strain engineering and synthetic biology approaches.

For RAMP Topic 2, Alagene is interested in developing biological solutions for the recovery of critical raw materials from secondary resources, including mining waste, industrial residues, tailings, and contaminated water streams. We are particularly interested in projects involving native microbial consortia, biomining, bioleaching, biosorption, and biological remediation technologies that can be translated into scalable industrial processes.
