We are interested in joining or forming a transnational consortium under RAMP Topic 2 as a scientific partner. Our main interests include the valorisation of steelmaking residues, particularly EAF slags, through advanced pretreatment, dissolution/leaching and metal recovery-oriented processes, with a focus on secondary and critical raw materials.

The CaReCycle Research Group at Afyon Kocatepe University, Türkiye, conducts research on the sustainable processing and valorisation of industrial residues and secondary raw materials. Our expertise includes steel slags, advanced physicochemical pretreatments, dissolution and leaching processes, materials characterisation, and the development of value-added applications from industrial by-products. The group also has research experience in microwave- and ultrasound-assisted processing and radiation-related materials applications.
