CareCycle Research Group is interested in joining RAMP 2026 consortia as a research partner, particularly under Topic 3. We offer expertise in circular utilisation and valorisation of industrial by-products, including steelmaking slags, fly ash, blast furnace slag, glass/mineral wool wastes and other secondary raw materials. Our research covers alkali-activated materials and geopolymers, recovery and separation of valuable elements from industrial residues, adsorption and water treatment, waste-derived construction materials, and physicochemical/material characterisation. We are particularly interested in projects combining resource recovery, waste valorisation and development of high-value circular materials, and we are open to complementary roles within existing or emerging consortia.

CareCycle Research Group is an interdisciplinary research group at Afyon Kocatepe University, Türkiye, focusing on circular economy, sustainable materials and environmental technologies. The group develops value-added routes for industrial by-products and secondary raw materials, with particular expertise in alkali-activated materials/geopolymers, industrial waste and slag valorisation, adsorption and water treatment, and functional construction materials. Our activities include material synthesis and optimisation, chemical and mineralogical characterisation, leaching and environmental performance assessment, recovery of valuable elements, and evaluation of waste-derived materials for environmental and construction applications. We are interested in international RD cooperation connecting raw-material efficiency, resource recovery and circular material development.
