Topic 4 – Overcoming technological barriers to circularity
Next-Tech Association is interested in joining RAMP Joint Call 2026 consortia under Topic 4 – Overcoming technological barriers to circularity, contributing digital and technology-enabled solutions that support reuse, repair, refurbishment, remanufacturing and repurposing of products and components.
We are particularly interested in projects where AI, data-driven methods and digital platforms can help assess product or component condition, support decisions on reuse versus repair or refurbishment, improve lifecycle management, enable predictive maintenance, optimise reverse-logistics processes, or facilitate traceability and information exchange across circular value chains.
Next-Tech Association can contribute to requirements definition, digital solution design and prototyping, AI/data-driven functionalities, interoperable platforms and dashboards, system integration, user-centred validation, pilot and demonstration activities, and stakeholder engagement.
We are looking to collaborate with industrial partners, manufacturers, recycling and remanufacturing organisations, research institutions, technology providers and pilot hosts that can contribute domain expertise, relevant datasets, physical technologies and real-world validation environments.

Its activities span requirements definition, technology-oriented research and development, prototyping, interoperability and integration, pilot implementation, testing and validation, stakeholder engagement, dissemination and exploitation.
Next-Tech Association works with SMEs, technology companies, research organisations, municipalities, end users and other innovation stakeholders and is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects where digital technologies can support sustainability and circular-economy objectives.
For RAMP Topic 4, the Association is particularly interested in contributing digital tools that enable product-life extension, condition assessment, predictive maintenance, repair and refurbishment decisions, traceability, reverse logistics and data-supported circularity.
This positioning is stronger for Topic 4 than presenting the Association mainly as a dissemination/stakeholder partner: it makes you a technology-oriented innovation partner, while still preserving your ability to lead validation, stakeholder involvement and exploitation activities. Topic 4 is fundamentally technological, so the profile should make the technical contribution visible from the beginning.
