The SENAI Institute of Productivity of Paraná is seeking international partners for a Topic 3 consortium focused on the efficient use of raw materials in industrial production. We are interested in projects involving resource-efficient processes, reduction of material losses, process optimisation, digital monitoring and validation of innovative solutions in real industrial environments.
The Institute can contribute industrial diagnostics, material and energy flow mapping, Lean Manufacturing, energy efficiency, techno-economic assessment, industrial validation, workforce training and replication of solutions across different industrial sectors in Brazil.

The SENAI Institute of Productivity of Paraná helps companies from different industrial sectors improve productivity, resource efficiency and sustainability through practical projects carried out in real production environments.
Our expertise includes process and material flow mapping, Lean Manufacturing, energy efficiency, performance monitoring, standardisation and techno-economic assessment.
In a recent mineral processing project, we mapped the production flow and identified movement, waiting and space-related losses. We standardised the supply of raw material to the crusher, introduced visual production management, reorganised the dispatch area and improved operational routines. These actions increased productivity by 30.49%, eliminated the identified unnecessary movement and generated a 4.85% gain in physical space.
We also assessed motors and compressed air systems, eliminated air leaks, optimised compressor pressure and supported the replacement of an oversized crusher motor. The combined energy efficiency actions generated projected annual savings of over BRL 100,000. This experience demonstrates our ability to deliver measurable and replicable improvements in resource-intensive industrial processes.
