Topic 2 – Targeting secondary sources to enhance access to raw materials
Elmery is seeking partners for collaborative projects addressing the recovery and circular use of critical raw materials from secondary sources.
We can contribute through:
-selective recovery of critical and valuable metals from complex secondary feedstocks
-development and optimisation of electrochemical recovery processes
-pilot-scale validation and industrial demonstration
-process data acquisition, analytics and AI-assisted optimisation
-integration of recovered materials back into industrial value chains
-techno-economic and environmental performance assessment
Looking for partners. We are interested in collaborating with:
-industrial companies generating secondary raw material streams
-recycling companies
-mining and metallurgical companies
-technology providers
-universities and research organisations
-life cycle assessment (LCA) and material flow analysis experts
-digitalisation and AI partners
-industrial pilot hosts
We are open to participating either as a technology partner or as a work package leader responsible for metal recovery technologies and pilot validation.
Elmery Oy is a Finnish deep-tech company developing an electricity-driven electrochemical technology (EDRR®) for the selective recovery of valuable and critical raw materials from complex industrial process streams. Our technology enables efficient recovery of metals with significantly lower chemical consumption, energy use and secondary waste generation compared to conventional hydrometallurgical methods.
Our technology has been successfully demonstrated on a wide range of secondary resources, including:
-hydrometallurgical process solutions
-refinery process streams
-electronic waste leachates
-precious metal refinery side streams
-mining process waters
-anode slimes and other complex metallurgical residues
